Your personally identifiable data are processed by Medifs, with registered office in
Belgium. A defined hosting company processes these data: Hostbasket.com
The processing of your data is performed in order to provide you with the services
you seek in registering with us. Your data will be kept during 10 years.
In addition to information connected with services for which you have subscribed,
we may contact you with other information and about other products and services of
Medifs, which may be of interest to you.
Medifs will use personal data only for the purposes indicated above. Only registered
persons will be allowed to have access to the personal database. The access will
be given specifically. Every registered person can have access to only these data
that are provided by him self through the use of the application.
Subject to the above and except to the extent that communications of personal data to
companies whose intervention as data processors, acting on behalf and under the
sole control of Medifs, is required to accomplish the purposes indicated above,
Medifs will not disclose, sell, rent or exchange such personal data to any other
organization or entity, unless you are first notified and expressly agreed with
it, or as otherwise required by law.
Health providers as described in the Arrêté Royal nr. 78 of 10 November 1967, are
bound by legal or statutory obligations to respect the confidentiality of personal
data. Medifs is not responsible for any breach of such obligation, nor accepts
any obligation to provide or reveal information concerning personal data of patients
of the health providers.
We draw your attention to the fact that you have the right to access and
restrict your data and, where appropriate, request rectification of any
erroneous data relating to you. You may furthermore, at any moment, object by
means of a simple request and free of charge, to the future processing of
personal data relating to you for the purpose of direct marketing. These rights
may be exercised by sending an e-mail regarding any questions you may have to
